Armotraz (Anastrozole)

Common Use

Armotraz contains the active ingredient anastrozole, which belongs to a class of medications called aromatase inhibitors—in simple terms, it works by blocking an enzyme called aromatase, which is responsible for producing estrogen in the body after menopause. Dosage and Direction

The typical dosage is 1 mg (one tablet), taken orally once a day. It is recommended to take Armotraz at the same time each day to help maintain consistent levels in your body. You may take it with or without food—whatever suits you best.

Precautions

Armotraz should be used with caution in individuals with:

A history of bone problems or osteoporosis – because lowering estrogen levels can lead to bone thinning (loss of bone density)

Liver disease – the medication is processed by the liver
