Dr. Ioannis Georgiou is a board certified Plastic Surgeon from Limassol, Cyprus. He graduated from the University of Marburg in Germany, in 2000. During his studies, he was awarded a scholarship from the DAAD (German Service of Academic Ex – changes) , for his outstanding academic achievements. He then trained for two years in General Surgery in Germany and Cyprus.

In 2003 he began his training in Plastic Surgery at the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery of the Chaim Sheba Medical Centre (Tel – Hashomer) in Tel Aviv, Israel. The department, one of the leading in the country, incorporates among others the National Referral Burn Unit, a Wound Healing Center, a Breast Reconstruction Unit and a Skin Cancer Unit. Thus he gain great experience in Reconstructive Surgery, the foundation of Cosmetic Surgery. He was also able to perform with prominent cosmetic surgeons of the country, gaining great experience in aesthetic surgery.

Dr Georgiou keeps up to date with the latest surgical techniques by attending meetings, courses, reading journals and visiting prominent colleagues around the world. Thus he is able to provide the most safe, advanced and innovative techniques in plastic surgery, especially in facial cosmetic surgery

As part of his commitment for accurate education, regarding the true possibilities and limitations of plastic surgery, he is presenting regularly

Dr Georgiou works in Cyprus since 2009 as a plastic surgeon and he is examining in Limassol and Nicosia
